Asbestos Sample Testing
Submitting individual samples to Airsafe for asbestos testing is a great option if you suspect you may have materials which contain asbestos, however sampling needs to be done carefully. What asbestos testing costs
At Airsafe, we make it simple: we charge a single flat fee of $110 per asbestos sample tested, including GST. It’s the same price whether you’re having one sample tested or ten, and it covers a full analysis in our NATA accredited laboratory with a written report of the result.
We analyse samples within 24 hours of receiving them. Need an answer the same day? For a small surcharge, we can deliver same-day results when your sample is dropped in at our Beaconsfield laboratory, or collected by us in Sydney, on a weekday.
Lead and silica samples are quoted individually: lead-in-paint screening by portable XRF is carried out under Airsafe’s own NATA accreditation, while silica and other samples needing laboratory chemistry are analysed by an appropriately NATA-accredited external laboratory.

Dropping off or posting your sample
If you can, bring your sample in person to Airsafe at Level 1, 488 Botany Road, Beaconsfield NSW 2015. (Call us first on 1300 888 338 to let us know you’re coming.) There’s ample parking on site, so you won’t be hunting for a street park. During opening hours, buzz the door and leave your sample; outside hours, use our after-hours drop box any time.
If you can’t bring your sample in person, post it to us: the form above generates a postage label with packaging instructions. We accept samples from anywhere in Australia.
