No, and that's deliberate. Airsafe is an independent consultancy: we test, advise, supervise and certify, but we never do the removal ourselves. That means we have no financial interest in your results, and it means our clearance reports are accepted by builders, councils and regulators without question. If removal is needed, we'll write the specification, help you find a licensed removalist, and supervise the job from start to finish.

Independent advice you can rely on

Some asbestos contractors offer an all-in-one service: they test samples for asbestos, and if asbestos is found, they will remove it. Asbestos contractors have a potential conflict of interest because, if tests come back positive, the material will have to be removed, resulting in more revenue for the contractor.

Airsafe works the other way. We don’t remove asbestos or hazardous materials. As your independent consultant, we identify the problem, write the removal specification, help you engage a licensed removalist, supervise the work including air monitoring, and issue the clearance report at the end.
